Responsibilities:
The role requires significant interaction with clients, which may be face-to-face or remotely. Responsibilities include:
Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs;
Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes and then documenting them;
Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings;
Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls;
Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the services, articulately and confidently;
Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events;
Generating sales leads
Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing systems and peripherals;
Developing effective sales plans;
Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades;
Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature;
Managing workload in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals;
Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources
Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions
Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities
Assessing customers' needs and explaining the goods and services which meet their needs
Promoting employers' ICT goods and services to existing and prospective clients
Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
Arranging delivery, installation, and provision of goods and services
Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, arranging modifications and resolving any problems arising
Following communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Preparing sales reports, and maintaining and submitting records of accounts.

Requirements:
Prior sales (corporate /retail, direct /indirect), customer service/retention or campaign execution experience preferred
An aptitude for problem solving and the ability to determine solutions for customer needs
The ability to effectively communicate with customers/clients on campaign policies and procedures
A desire to work and contribute in a team-based environment
Excellent communication skills and follow through
