Main duties:
- Provide a warm and friendly welcome to create a memorable guest experience;
- Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, whether in person or over the phone;
- Manage guest bookings, up-sell opportunities, and inform guests about ways to enhance their stay;
- Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently;
- Swiftly check guests in and out, manage IDs, hand out room keys, and control safety deposit boxes;
- Anticipate guest needs by recording and acting on their preferences, and handling their messages, requests, questions, and concerns;
- Be a trusted contact for guests, assisting with everything from billing issues to local knowledge, and involve management when necessary;
- Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear protective gear as needed;
- Maintain a polished appearance as a brand ambassador;
- Stay informed about daily events and activities happening in the hotel.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous hotel experience is preferable;
- Strong working knowledge of relevant computer software, including restaurant management software;
- Knowledge of Hotel PMS is preferable;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Proficiency in Azerbaijani, Russian, or/and English languages;
- Highly responsible and reliable.
