• To provide legislative and regulation advice to the Company Management team on all matters relating to HSE.
• To ensure that the Company is proactive, up to date and complies with Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
• To carry out periodical internal and external site inspections to ensure policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to.
• To support Company offices in respect to third party HSE audits;
  Ensure all offices are working in a standardized approach to the HSE standards;
• To carry out risk assessments ensuring that all documentation and method statements are up to date if necessary.
• To increase Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness to Managers and employees with training techniques and coaching sessions including toolbox talks and Health, Safety and Environmental inductions.
• To develop and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO standards. 
• To maintain the management system, identify and implement initiatives to improve it including all procedures, processes, safe systems of work, offering support and advice on Risk Assessments, Method statements
• To ensure Managers are focused on delivering a safe working environment providing the necessary management support and technical advice as required.
• To represent and promote the organisation’s safety performance to third parties.
• To complete monthly management reports for submission to the CEO of the Companies.
• Complete other projects at the request of the Management
• Investigate accidents, incidents & unsafe work practices related to Company business & other activities (internally & externally) related to Company, including incidents involving contractors & other parties. Study possible causes, recommend remedial action & other appropriate action & follow up as appropriate.
• Ensure preparation and implementation of HSE policies, rules and procedures which will enable the Company to comply with Azerbaijan Legislation;
• Promote good health and safety practices within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working.
• Ensure that the organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation in relation to the use of its plant, equipment and substances, as well as in all workplace activities.
• Observe & report on emergency procedures, drills, practices, etc.
• Assist with the development of health and safety systems, including standards, policies, procedures, guidance, manuals, etc.
• As directed assist with training which could include training sessions for management, supervisors and associates on health and safety practices and legislation.
• Identify and examine work areas for potential accident and health hazards & advise on appropriate control measures.

Personnel specifications:

• Diploma: University Degree level education ideally complemented by professional post-graduate HSE qualification
• Experience: at least 3 years
• Languages: Azeri native, Russian native, English intermediate.
