Manual QA Engineer

Position: Manual QA Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time / Remote

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web applications.

• Analyze requirements and create test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.

• Test functionality, user interface, compatibility, and performance.

• Log and manage bugs in a tracking system (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

• Collaborate closely with developers and the project manager to clarify requirements and ensure prompt resolution of issues.

• Conduct regression, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing.

• Provide test result reports and assess risks associated with identified issues.

• Participate in discussions and contribute to QA process improvement.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Manual QA Engineer (experience with web projects is a plus).

• Knowledge of basic testing types and levels (functional, regression, integration, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with tools for test management (e.g., TestRail, Jira).

• Skills in writing test cases, creating checklists, and preparing bug reports.

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and HTTP.

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Ability to analyze requirements (user stories, technical specifications) and identify potential issues.

• English proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation.

Nice-to-Have:

• Skills in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
