Network Administrator/DevOps

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Network Administrator/DevOps who wants to be part of challenging new and ongoing projects using the latest technologies

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator/DevOps or a relevant position in IT
• Participating in big software projects is a plus

Job Responsibilities

• Determine what the organization needs in a network and computer system before it is set up
• Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases
• Install all network hardware and software and make needed upgrades and repairs
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software and all configurations and ensure that all systems are operating correctly
• Collect data in order to evaluate the network’s or system’s performance and help make the system work better and faster
• Add users to a network and assign and update security permissions on the network
• Train users on the proper use of hardware and software
• Diagnose hardware and software problems, and fix them asap
• Prepare data and disaster recovery scenarios and plans and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Prepare routine (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) checklists of operations and implement them as planned
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
• Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records
• Research new technologies and recommend its implementation
• Plan, design, implement, document and control all deployments automation and configuration

Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience with any programming languages, databases is a plus
• Good writing/documenting skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communications skills
• Strong team player and open to collaborations

Languages

• Azerbaijani – advanced
• English – upper-intermediate
• Russian – nice to have
