Role Overview:
 

SERVICE INVEST, a dynamic player in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a highly skilled and driven Sales/Procurement Engineer to contribute to our business growth and operational excellence. This role is critical in bridging the technical and commercial aspects of our operations, ensuring seamless collaboration with clients and suppliers to meet organizational goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring alignment with sales and procurement objectives.
• Develop and deliver technical proposals tailored to client requirements, showcasing a deep understanding of engineering solutions in the oil and gas sector.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality, cost-efficient materials and services.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, benchmark pricing, and assess competitors, providing strategic insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to ensure procurement aligns with technical and operational needs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
• Optimize inventory management to balance supply chain efficiency and cost control.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to procurement, product specifications, and client needs.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions to address discrepancies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on sales activities, procurement performance, and market trends to senior management.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales, procurement, or an engineering-related role, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Proficiency in English and Russian (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, supply chain operations, and market dynamics.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

• Location: Baku, Azerbaijan.
• Sector: Oil and gas.
• Salary: Competitive, determined during the interview process.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5-day work week.
