Job description
The main duties of the successful candidate will be:
• Manage accounting tasks
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Maintaining accurate accounting records
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with the planned time schedule
• Gather, track, analyze and present summarized accounting information
• Calculate taxes and tax returns; Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to tax, accounting, labor, etc.
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant
• BA in Accounting or similar relevant field
• Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles, as well as International finance reporting standards
• Experience with accounting software (1C, SAP, etc.)
• Experience in FMCG & Retail industry would be an advantage
• Strong attention to detail; A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the project’s success
• Good time-management, interpersonal and communication skills
