Tax intern

TAX INTERN

UHY LLC is in search of motivated and qualified interns for Tax Team who are pursuing a degree in accounting or tax education. We offer a challenging and rewarding work environment while encouraging teamwork within our staff and a balance between work and personal life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with tax planning for clients; 
• Assist in the preparation of schedules needed to complete tax returns; 
• Assist in gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of an tax audit; 
• Assist in gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of various state and local tax audits including but not limited to sales and use, income, and property; 
• Conduct tax research and prepare decision grids in support of projects; 
• Meet deadlines for completion of tax returns and other projects as assigned; 
• Duties will vary based on the needs of the firm and the interns training and experience;

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/ MS degree in business concentration/Accounting;
- Good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel;
- Strong Working knowledge of English and Russian is preferred; Highly organized and detail oriented; Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy; Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
